Calhoun County Board of Supervisors met February 23, and gave approval to a seat-belt/restrain policy for county employees. A 28E greement was approved, and a hiring was approved for the Auditor's office. Secondary Road updates were received.
MNW Girls Basketball team is will play in the Class 2A Championship game on Friday night, March 5.
MNW School Board met February 18, and approved extending the school day to help make up the missed snow days. They also heard a Superintendent sharing proposal. IHSAA sportsmanship ratings were received and MNW was well above average for coaches, spectators and athletes for the football season.

Three senior members of the MNW Drill team selected to perform in the all Iowa Honor Drill Team at the Girls State Basketball Tournament on Friday and Saturday nights.
